INGT 2011-2012 Annual Report

It gives us great pleasure to announce that we have released our INGT Annual Report for 2011-2012. Both of these reports can be found in our Publications Section.

Our reports highlight the opportunities and challenges that INGT, APlus, MAS National, Process Plus, and Work & Training have been engaged with over the last year.

INGT has a new Group CEO

Poul Bottern joined INGT as Group CEO in September 2012. With 25 years experience in community services, Poul has held senior roles within a number of well known not-for-profit organisations including most recently as CEO of Wesley Mission Victoria. He has an MBA (Hons) from Swinburne University and is a Diploma graduate of AICD. Poul is passionately committed to working with businesses across the INGT Group to achieve strong outcomes for customers now and into the future.

The Inner North Community Foundation

In response to barriers to employment facing many marginalised groups in Melbourne’s inner north, INGT supported by its 3 member councils: Moreland, Darebin, and Yarra, established the Inner North Community Foundation in 2008 and has been its major sponsor since that time. More than $3 million has been donated to the Inner North Community Foundation from members of the community to build its capacity to make grants to local eligible charitable organisations.

After four years of grant making, the Inner North Community Foundation has distributed just over $750,000 to more than 35 different community projects. These projects have helped equip local people with the skills and experience they need to break down barriers to employment and find work.

The Inner North Community Foundation funds local projects  from Richmond to Reservoir, Fitzroy to Fawkner and Brunswick to Bundoora within the inner north of Melbourne.

The short documentary below provides an overview of how our funding has helped make a difference in the lives of many local people.

All donations to the Inner North Community Foundation are invested in perpetuity and income earned each year is distributed to local organisations. Visit www.innernorthfoundation.org.au or call 8689 1967 for more information about supporting the Inner North Community Foundation or applying for a grant.
